Rope Rescue – Level III (High Angle Rope Rescue Technician)
This is an advanced five-day rope rescue course for the dedicated rescuer.

PURPOSE: 
To understand and use procedures, equipment and techniques needed to implement a safe rescue of a casualty at height

OBJECTIVE:
This program is to improve an individual team member’s capability, to help conduct a sophisticated team rescue. This program challenges the participants through intensive hands-on experience, real time scenarios, complex decision making and problem solving.

  • Structure Assessment (Anchors)
  • Advanced Physics of Rigging Systems
  • Essential Knot Tying Techniques

  • Additional Safety Concerns (Analyzing Force Vectors, Edge Attendants)
  • Personnel Communication & Systems

  • Participants receive a student manual in which they are able to follow along and take required notes as part of their participation.
  • Upon successful completion of the required exam with a minimum score of 75% you will receive a Certificate of Completion
  • Full participation and extensive hands-on demonstrations are required by each participant to successfully complete this program.

Note:
With any High Angle Rescue Program, it is strongly recommended to set up an internal maintenance program for continual training and experience.
