Respiratory Protection
This program varies in length from 4 – 6 hours and is designed to teach students about approved respiratory protection to determine which type of respiratory protection is appropriate for the task at hand.
This program incorporates client specific policies, procedures and equipment into our core program to implement a specific training program for our clients’.
PURPOSE:
To become acquainted with different types of respiratory protection, such as dust masks and charcoal organic-type respirators. Understanding IDLH atmospheres to determine the level of respiratory protection along with the proper use of both self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and supplied-air breathing systems (SABA).
Topics Include:
- Participants receive a student manual in which they are able to follow along and take required notes as part of their participation.
- Upon successful completion of the required exam with a minimum score of 75% you will receive a Certificate of Completion
