Confined Space Entry/Rescue LEVEL III  
COMPANY / GROUP SPECIFIC Confined Space Entry/Rescue training program is a 14-16 hour program with a strong emphasis on RESCUE TEAM scenarios that incorporates client specific policies, procedures and equipment into our core program to implement company specific training, using existing “Codes of Practice”, equipment, photos and case studies relevant to all workers involved.

This program will also discuss how to manage risks associated with working in confined spaces, accident prevention, along with providing workers with a solid understanding on what is required for them to safely enter a confined space for work activities and prepare them for pre-planning for rescue in a confined space.

Successful completion of this course requires full course attendance, a written examination and demonstration of practical skills, including entries into a confined space simulator, while wearing self-contained and supplied breathing apparatus (SCBA and SABA) to perform rescue simulations .

Program will consist of core topics listed below identifying pre-entry, entry and rescue procedures, which covers the general guidelines of identifying Restricted and Confined Spaces at the workplace along with legislation that governs entry into these spaces for industry.

NOTE:
It is NOT REQUIRED, but recommended, that students already possess, previous experience with the use of Respiratory Protective Equipment (SCBA / SABA), prior to participating in the Level III (ADVANCED) program. 

  • Participants receive a student manual in which they are able to follow along and take required notes as part of their participation.
  • Full participation, hands-on demonstrations and a written examination, are required to successfully complete the program and receive Industry Standard certification.
