COURSE INFORMATION
Standard First-Aid (RECERTIFICATION) (Intermediate – CSA Z1210-17)
This is a one-day training program which meets the requirements for Federal and a variety of Provincial/Territorial regulations including Occupational Health & Safety for Standard (Intermediate) First-Aid.
Due to certain work requirements or commitments, this program allows you to re-certify in one (1) day rather than two (2) days, for the full Standard First-Aid program. You must however hold a current (VALID) Standard First-Aid Certificate the day of registered program.
This comprehensive program covers and reviews basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who are looking to renew their knowledge base and skill set for re-certification of the full 2 day Standard First-Aid program. This program includes the latest First-Aid and Level “C” CPR guidelines and exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED.
PLEASE NOTE:
Participants must hold a VALID (Non-Expired) Standard First-Aid Certificate the day of the program.
Topics Include:
- Participants will be given a library copy of the current First-Aid manual for classroom use to follow along and take required notes as part of their participation, however, students are also welcome to click link to download a copy for personal use.
- Full participation, hands-on demonstrations and a written examination, are required to successfully complete the program and receive Industry Standard certification.
